This 8A linear regulator can take voltage inputs from 6-8.4V and provide an adjustable regulated output from 5-6V. Built in overheat protection that shuts down the regulator if the IC surface temperature gets above 90° C. It includes a failsafe switch that can be used if desired. Unplugging the switch defaults the regulator to 'ON', preventing switch failure from disrupting power to your receiver. Dual power input and output connectors allow you to use dual battery systems and dual receivers easily!
