This is the same system as included with the Hyperion Spitfire 25e-class. The quality is outstanding and the legs can be locked in either up or down position without the use of a servo.  Legs go up towards wing tips, just like in Spitfire

The legs place no load on the retract servo so micro to medium is recommended.
